Erika Marozsán is a Hungarian-American actress and theatrical creator who has worked across Hungary, Germany, and the United States, earning international recognition for her versatility and collaborations with leading directors. Her film One Day Crossing was nominated for an Academy Award.
As a recipient of the 2025 Tulipán Art & Culture Award, Erika will premiere The Double Me on September 6, 2025, at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club as part of the Hungary L!ve Festival. This one-woman multimedia performance, created in collaboration with Hungarian artists, explores identity, memory, and dislocation through the perspective of a Hungarian woman living in New York City.
With an East Coast tour planned in the near future, the project continues Erika’s mission to share Hungarian heritage with American audiences, creating cultural connections and enriching the theatrical landscape.
